CIPE Leading Practices Contest - Opportunity for CIPE Partners

CIPE Leading Practices Contest - Opportunity for CIPE Partners

    Center for International Private Enterprise

    Dear Partners and Friends,

How do you see your organization contributing to “best practice” and innovation? In what way might you be an example for others seeking democratic and market reforms?

CIPE is launching a contest to recognize innovation and good practice in the field of democratic and market reforms. The objective is to facilitate transfers of knowledge among CIPE’s partner network — to promote benchmarking and the replication of effective ideas. CIPE’s partners are among the world’s leading advocates for a strong private sector and democratic governance. We wish to illuminate their contributions and stimulate discussion about what really works.

We are seeking entries from CIPE partners and former partners in three categories:

    1. Policy Advocacy

    2. Organizational Strengthening

    3. Communications and Education

Finalists will be judged by a distinguished panel, featuring:

    · Raymond Gilpin - Associate Vice President, Sustainable Economies Centers of Innovation, United States Institute of Peace

    · Kim Holmes - Vice President, Foreign and Defense Policy Studies, The Heritage Foundation

    · Mary M. Shirley - President, Ronald Coase Institute

Winners: CIPE will bring a representative of the overall winner on an expenses-paid trip to Washington, DC, to share experiences and meet with donors, policy institutes, and other experts. CIPE will publicize the winners in each category.

By participating in the contest, you can raise the visibility of your organization, discover new ideas and benchmarking opportunities, educate others about your work, and get to know other CIPE partners. For contest details, see the guidelines and entry form.

The deadline for submissions is April 15, 2011.

We look forward to hearing about your leading practices. I am available to answer any questions.

    Best regards,

    Kim
