    Kyrgyz Government asks the WB to render assistance in implementation the Medium Term Development Program

    Bishkek, Kabar/. First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov met with World Bank Country Director for Central Asia Moto Konishi on Monday.
    O. Babanov thanked Moto Konishi for the support provided by the World Bank to Kyrgyzstan in development of priority social and economic trends.
    The sides discussed several issues relating to implementation of World Bank projects in Kyrgyzstan and the prospects for further cooperation. First Deputy Prime Minister briefed about the Medium-Term Development Program for 2012-2014 adopted by the Kyrgyz Government and requested the World Bank to assist in implementation of this program.
    In addition, they discussed fulfillment of internal procedures of the project "Support to economic recovery," in the frames of which the World Bank intends to allocate Kyrgyzstan tranche of $ 30 million, the information policy department of the Kyrgyz Government reports.
