PF "Corporate Governance School" with financial support of CIPE
Today, on July 26, 2012 on the conference hall of Kyrgyz Stock Exchange held a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding of corporate governance.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the
Ministry of Economy and antimonopoly policy of KR
Public service regulation and supervision of financial markets under the Government
Fund for State Property Management of KR
Public Foundation " Corporate Governance School"
The ceremony was attended by representatives of state institutions, the supervisory board of PF "Corporate governance school" and the media.
The memorandum was signed by the following authorized representatives of government agencies and PF "Corporate governance school":
Kasymaliev Adylbek - Deputy Minister of Economy and antimonopoly policy of the KR;
Pirnazarov Marat - Deputy Chairman of the Public service regulation and supervision of financial markets under the Government;
Primov Almazbek - Deputy Director of the Fund for State Property Management;
Elebaev Nurbek - Project Manager;
Irina Ivanova - Director of PF "Corporate Governance School"
Memorandum of Understanding signed with the purpose of interaction and cooperation between the parties with the intention to develop corporate governance in the country, primarily in strategic companies with state participation in the capital.
The main objective of cooperation will be the creation of a system for training and professional qualifications of managerial personnel of strategic companies that own corporate governance principles and have the skills to implement in practice.
PF " Corporate Governance School" was founded in 2011, with the support of CIPE (Center for International Private Enterprise), the companies of the financial market in the country, as a non-profit organization for the purposes of implementing and improving corporate governance practices, improving the skills of elected members of the governing bodies joint-stock companies, consulting organizations to the principles of corporate governance skills to implement them in practice.
The Supervisory Board includes:
Head of state ownership policy of the Ministry of Economics and Antitrust Policy KR
Head control and legal control of the Fund for State Property Management under the Government
Deputy Head of strategic facilities management of the Fund for State Property Management under the Government
The project PF " Corporate Governance School " will begin in September 2012.
