    Kyrgyz Government intends to flog the Alfa Telecom state-owned shares in November 2011

    Bishkek – 24.kg news agency - Kyrgyz Government intends to flog the Alfa Telecom state-owned shares in November 2011. The Deputy Minister of Finance Meder Temirbekov stated at the press conference today.

    According to him, acting Prime Minister of KRG Omurbek Babanov charged the Ministry of State Property with a relevant task. “According to our estimates, more than 4.5 billion soms from the sale of MegaCom must be received in the budget of Kyrgyzstan till the end of December. The Ministry of State Property will have the opinion of the appraisal company about the cost of 49 percent of the Alfa Telecom shares,” said Medet Temirbekov.

    Bekbolot Aliev, the head of the Revenue Generate Service under the Ministry of Finance, noted that about 5 billion soms is expected to be received in the budget of Kyrgyzstan. The income earned from the sale of Petrol Group Co Ltd is also included there.
